Kevin and Rachel’s wedding day was absolutely gorgeous and I am so honored to have been their photographer! The soft colors, vintage pieces, carefully planned design and decor, and a gorgeous couple and wedding party made the entire event stunning. The beautiful flowers provided by Inspiration Blooms were so soft and gorgeous and really pulled the event together. Rachel’s dress was a beautiful A-line cut with beautiful lace detail from Lewisville Bridal Boutique and her vintage inspired silk floral waist band with pearl detail brought a lovely romantic touch to her gown, and her makeup was stunning thanks to AH Makeup Artistry. Rachel’s veil was hand-sewn by her mother and had a gorgeous lace detail. Rachel also wore a beautiful fur stole that belonged to her grandmother.

Kevin was one of the most eager, yet relaxed grooms I’ve worked with. He was so ready to marry the girl he loves and he was beaming! He looked very handsome in his tux and his groomsmen were picture perfect!

Their florals were pink roses mixed with white hydrangeas and brought a soft romantic touch to the event. Their ceremony was held at Watermark Community Church in Dallas, TX which was the perfect setting. The chapel has stunning hand carved wooden pews and a breathtaking cathedral ceiling lined with natural woods. The walls are built of incredible stone and the large open window at the front of the chapel adds a gorgeous architectural feature that also lets in beautiful light. Rachel and Kevin’s friends and family were joyful as they watched the ceremony and every face had a smile as they witnessed these two, who are the definition of “in love” get married.

Stay tuned for part two of their wedding day which will feature their reception held at Bent Tree Country Club in Dallas and this venue was very impressive. The high ceilings are decorated with large, exposed wooden beams and gorgeous chandeliers. The walls are an exposed brick, which brought amazing texture to the event. The décor was beautiful and their cake from La Rosette Bakery was so good and amazing to look at too! Every bit of this wedding start to finish was just beautiful and what made really great was the love that these two share.

I posted a few sneak peeks of Rachel’s bridal portraits at Watermark Church in Dallas, but I have to post more! Rachel was so stunning in her gown, wearing her grandmother’s vintage, fur stole and her hair and make-up (done by AH Makeup Artistry) was stunning! I could not ask for a more beautiful bride for these classic yet modern bridal images.

Bridal portraits are my favorite session to photograph as a wedding photographer! These bridals of Rachel at Watermark Church in Dallas are some of my all time favorites that I’ve captured to date. She is just stunning. I love the Vogue look of them and her gorgrous white lace A-line dress was perfect!! I love the vintage feel that her grandmother’s fur stole and her beautiful ivory sash brought into these modern bridals. Watermark Church was the perfect location! I am in awe of their gorgeous architecture and all of the versatility of the interior, with all of their beautiful, warm furniture, textures and light, it was the perfect backdrop and I am so ready to have another session there! Rachel and Kevin’s wedding was last night and the staff at Watermark was unbelieveably kind and helpful. It was such a great experience, not to mention that the wedding was beautiful and sweet.

Please enjoy these sneaks and I’ll get up a full post very soon!

Being a Dallas wedding photographer brings me into the lives of so many happy couples who are madly in love and joyous to be joining their lives and I am so grateful for my job! Tamrah and Tredrick were one of those couples and their love for each other is so sweet and true and genuinely touched my heart. Tamrah looked stunning in her lace, fitted gown with flowing train from Lulu’s Bridal and Tredrick’s eyes were glued to her all day! Tamrah’s hair and makeup were flawless thanks to Iea and Roxanne, who did her hair and makeup. Tredrick was a very handsome groom in his sharp tux and silver vest and tie.

This couple smiled all day and just glowed. I am so lucky to have been a part of their day and witness such a great love.

I absolutely loved their winter themed wedding, which was perfectly put together by Each and Every Detail, with a beautiful blue and silver color scheme that was pulled together by gorgeous designs created by RainFlorist Designs. Everything flowed so smoothly thanks to David with LeForce Entertainment. The food was SO good and pretty (which makes for very happy guests) and was catered by Tastefully Yours Catering. The gorgeous cake tasted as good as it looked and was brought in by Bake Rejoice. Of course every event has to have linens and seating to really come together and the awesome team at Seat by Design took care of that. Finally, the beautiful, whimsical invitations, programs and menu cards added the last touch to make the event even more memorable and were provided by Porcia Green.

And lastly, I owe a huge thank you to Catie Ronquillo for all of her help as my second shooter this day. Could not have done it without her!!

Photographing brides is something I love, love, love to do! Brides have this beautiful glow about them that just reflects the happiness and joy they are feeling at this time in their lives and I love being around that and capturing it on camera. Tamrah was absolutely stunning in her gorgeous lace trimmed, curve hugging bridal gown from Lulu’s Bridal. I absolutely love how her gown has a vintage feel to it with all the lace and she is such a vision. I went gaga over the tree stump that we used in this session. It just brought in that natural, rustic element that I think make a photo session pop with character.

Congratulations to Tamrah and her groom Tredrick who tied the knot and I was honored to be a part of the wedding as well and their engagement photos!
