When I got Kim’s email, I literally squealed. I told everyone about it. I had an inquiry for an ELOPEMENT!!!! Ladies and Gentlemen, this is every photographer’s (well all the one’s I know, at least) DREAM!! A sweet, intimate wedding, all about love and just getting married! Now, don’t get me wrong, I love all weddings, but something about the simplicity of an elopement just tugs at my heart:)

I started the day with Kim at The Omni Hotel with her mom and soon to be mother-in-law, then we headed to White Rock Lake to meet Nick at a pier that we were hoping and crossing our fingers was open. It was! The ceremony was beautiful, everything was perfect. These guys were amazing and funny and laughed the whole time!

I was beyond thrilled when I was asked to be a part of this rustic farm-to-table engagement shoot and even at the time I had no idea it would turn out to be as beautiful as it was. It was absolutely stunning!!!! This Farm-t0-Table concept was hatched and designed by Jen Rios with Jen Rios Designs, who as you can see is amazingly talented and had such a beautiful vision for this! The Shoot had touches of vintage and rustic, combined with the natural edge brought in by all of the fresh edibles. All of the furniture and decorative pieces were brought in by Period Charm Rentals. I love, love, love all of her vintage pieces!! The tablescape florals as well as bridal bouquet and the cute little engagement ring were designed by We + You Studios. I was so in love with the florals for this!! They were so colorful and vibrant but still subtle and romantic. I have no idea how they pulled that combo off, but it WORKED and was stunning!

The table was topped off by vintage china and tableware by The Vintage Dish. The cute stationary, table numbers and place mats were designed and provided by Rebekah Disch Designs. Our lovely models were such a sweet couple and so easy to work with!! Amanda’s hair and makeup was courtesy of Beauty and the Blush. She look AMAZING!!! I loved the casual, yet romatic feel of her hair and makeup, so gorgeous. Her totally awesome outfits were styled and provided by Life is Pretty. And finally, this whole crew was coordinated by Couture Events by Lottie, who kept us all straight on details, times and kept everything running smoothly! Could not have pulled it off without her!

AND!! This shoot shoot was featured by The Wedding Chicks, which we are all super proud of! You can see that feature here:
