I don’t meet very many Teresa’s, especially ones who spell their name the right way. So when Teresa emailed me, I knew right away we were just meant to be! It was a lot of fun saying my own name throughout their session too.:)Teresa and Mike are just SOOOO cute together! They giggled and were even somewhat gentle during their Holi Paint Powder fight:)That was a LOT of fun! All of the color was amazing! I’m totally going to do this just for fun.

We had some absolutely gorgeous light and it went so well with the mood of the day. Fun, sweet, lots of love and lots of laugh, and maybe a little poison ivy too, but this was so worth it.:)

When Kelly with Sweet Pea Events called me to see if I was available for an April 13th wedding, she said that she thought I would love this couple because they are super laid back and sweet and a lot of fun. I didn’t need any further convincing, sign me up! So, when I met with Jen and Taylor and Taylor’s mom Sandy, I saw exactly what Kelly was talking about and I knew I’d be lucky to work with these guys. Throughout the entire path to their wedding, these guys have been awesome and I could not be happier for them! Their wedding day turned out PERFECT! Gorgeous sun, warm air, a sweet breeze off of the lake, everything was absolutely stunning and these two were so happy to be marrying each other! When I saw Taylor for the first time that day, he had a huge grin and when I asked him how he felt he said he felt great and was ready to get married! Love that!

Taylor proposed to Jen in Carmel, California, so their inspiration for their wedding was the city where they were engaged. Everything was stunning and an incredible group of people made it happen. Sweet Pea Events, Out of the Garden, Southern Fried Paper, Astounding Sounds, Legacy Cakes and Paradise Cove. I hope I’m not leaving anyone out!!

Now, I had a really hard time narrowing this down, so look for a second post with the rest of the day next Wednesday:)Enjoy!

I am so excited to share these photos from Jackie and Erik’s wedding! Everything was so beautiful and went so perfectly and it was HARD to choose my favorites for this! There really were just so many beautiful, fun moments that I had to really think hard about which ones to share so that I could actually get a post up instead of having way too many photos to even make a post! So, these are my FAVORITES from the day! I started the day off with Jackie, her mom and sister at Blushington, they had their hair done at Drybar before that. I LOVED Blushington! That place is amazing and I want them to come decorate my house. That is all. Even more amazing though, was how beautiful Jackie was and how laid back and relaxed! They had a 30% chance for rain on their outdoor wedding day, but she did not seem ruffled at all and was ready to go for it, and I’m so glad they did because the outdoor ceremony garden at The Aldredge House is just gorgeous and was perfect! Also, a special thanks to Cocktails and Caviar for gorgeous flowers and décor and Frosted Art Bakery for a beautiful cake!

I have loved working with Jackie and Erik and their families. I had a great time at their wedding and I am so so happy they chose me for their big day!

I first met Jeniece about 2 and half years ago through a group that my husband belonged to. She was so sweet and welcoming when I met her and when I found out she was engaged I knew I would be lucky to work with her! When I met Colby for their engagement session, he was just as sweet and kind as Jeniece. I could not ask for better clients!!

Colby and Jeniece share a love of wine, he even proposed to her with a wine bottle.:)So, we spent a little bit of their session in a wine bar, no I did not have a glass, I’m a light weight and wanted their photos to be straight! These guys had so much fun together! They laugh a lot together. I had so much fun with them and can’t wait for their wedding day!

When I first met with Jackie and Erik, I immediately noticed how he moved his chair so he could sit RIGHT beside her with his arm around her shoulders. If that’s not a sign of a guy that’s totally crazy about a girl, I don’t know what is. Throughout the meeting they looked at each other a lot, and lots of smiles were shared between them.:)I knew these guys were perfect for me. They are obviously genuinely in love and super laid back and happy people! I loved working together on their engagement session. They laughed a lot, couldn’t keep their eyes )or hands) off of each other and everything was just perfect! We went out to Watters Creek in Allen which was a great place for these. My favorite images in this collection are the ones we took in Bonnie Ruth’s and out in the swampy field behind the parking garage. That’s right, these gorgeous, sunny photos were taken in a small patch of wild wheat in a boggy, swampy area right behind a concrete parking garage! Whoop! Beauty is everywhere.:)Jackie was absolutely flawless. I couldn’t get over how stunning she is as I edited these. If you’re wondering where she had her hair and makeup done she went to The Drybar for her hair and Blushington for makeup. 😉

So, take a look, leave some love and enjoy this little bit of pretty.:)
